Right now, as I sit putting my thoughts into words, life plays like a genial movie in the deep layers of my unconscious mind. There was a time when I felt like my world had come to a standstill, making me believe that there was nothing left to do beyond burying myself in anguish and sorrow! How, then, did I manage to become a successful momtrepreneur?
The day I met my Guruji, Shri Rishi Prabhakar, in 1989, my life started changing its course. Each day, I feel deeper in love with my work, my family, my Baggit employees, and most importantly, with myself. What helped me defeat the gray clouds I once struggled with and move closer to the silver lining is a technique that I preach time and again; it is Siddha Samadhi Yoga or SSY.
SSY plays a pivotal role in shaping my world. It guides my everyday decisions, be it in my personal or professional life. All the SSY principles have given me love, wisdom, and bliss, and if there is something they have robbed me of, it is negativity, fear, and self-doubt.
The following are the top 6 things that SSY has taught me:
BE THE MASTER OF YOUR DESTINY
Be selfish about the knowledge you possess about yourself. If I know myself better and understand myself better, I am able to excel in both personal and professional lives. Only you are the master of your own destiny.
BE IN GRATITUDE
Don’t be greedy and relish the fruits of success single-handedly. I am what I am because of the people around me. Thus, I ensure that I give back to the community for repaying the gratitude. Whether choosing to be a vegan brand or starting the Katarkhadak school.
LIVE LIFE, EVERY DAY
Believe in the law of attraction. What you seek is seeking you, thus, manifest and visualize your future every hour. Think what you want to achieve in the day. Leave no stone unturned in giving in to your full potential as what you think will definitely come true.
SPEND TIME WITH YOURSELF
Review the day spent. This will help you in identifying where you are and where you aspire to be. As I started practicing this, business decisions got more streamlined and so did my employees’ performance. Whatever we did, whether right or wrong, was highlighted and worked upon.
MEDITATE, MEDITATE, MEIDTATE
It is like a detox therapy that will infuse you with positivity. When I feel myself getting worked up or reacting to something negative, I meditate in silence and behold! The solution then appears in front of me!
BE IN VAIRAGYA
Detach from wealth and relationships. Guruji taught me how money is just a wave of energy and more is created only when we exchange it. Baggit profits are given for charity purposes and back to the employees. Also, I believe that everyone is free like a bird and possessiveness only obstructs sweet, lasting relationships.
These principles have changed my world for the best. Start following them and feel the magic unfold in life.
